When you take REMfresh®, you may start to feel ready for sleep within 30 – 90 minutes. If you do happen to wake up in the middle of the night while taking REMfresh®, you may find that it is easier to fall back asleep than with other melatonin products. This is due to the unique continuous release and absorption technology in REMfresh® that provides up to 7 hours of sleep support.
REMfresh® is a dietary supplement. REMfresh® is regulated under the federal Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act, which does not require pre-approval. Melatonin has been in common and safe use for over two decades. REMfresh® must submit all label claims to the FDA to keep on file but not for approval. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at all times has authority to investigate and monitor such products for safety and compliance.
When determining how much melatonin you should take for your individual sleep needs, you should start with a lower dose and then titrate up to achieve optimum results. Just be sure you don’t exceed more than 10 mg in one night. For best results, REMfresh® should be taken 30 to 90 minutes before bed. In addition, REMfresh® melatonin should be taken in conjunction with an overall healthy sleep hygiene program. Low-dose melatonin is frequently recommended by doctors for patients 6 years and older. Consult a physician if using any supplement for the first time.
REMfresh® is not intended for use by pregnant or nursing women.
Intended for occasional sleeplessness. Consult a physician before use: if you are under the age of 18; if you are experiencing long-term sleep difficulties; if pregnant, attempting to become pregnant, or nursing; if you have a medical condition, are taking medications, or have chronic diseases; if you are taking sedatives, tranquilizers or any other sleep aid. If there are serious medical issues, REMfresh is not recommended. Do not drive or operate machinery when taking melatonin. Do not use when consuming alcohol. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature. Do not use if blister is torn or ripped or if there is any other evidence of tampering. Consult a physician if using any supplement for the first time. REMfresh has no added gluten, nuts, fish or dairy products. REMfresh® does contain dextrose monohydrate which is derived from wheat. Dextrose monohydrate is gluten free and is often used in gluten-free foods as a sweetener. If you have a wheat sensitivity, consult with your physician.
